Challenge Family

The two benefits of now being part of the Challenge Family: we are officially a member of one of the oldest and most legendary triathlon events in the world, and we were there for it’s first appearance in America. Over the weekend of June 28th our CEO had the honor of sharing Alii Lifestyle at this event. Not only did we have a booth, but some our A team athletes participated in Challenge Atlantic City inaugural race.

Thousands of people from across America and around the world joined together for this amazing race on a virtually perfect day. This race began with a 2.4 mile swim in the beautiful waters of the Atlantic bay. Competitors then biked 112 miles through the Atlantic Country highlighting vineyards, state forests, riverside towns, the blueberry capitol of the world and Hammonton. Lastly, athletes ran 26.2 miles finishing at the world famous Boardwalk. Sweden’s Fredrik Croneborg and USA’s Laurel Wassner took the lead of this demanding race.

We were honored to be part of the first Challenge race in the US. There is no feeling like being surrounded by people who share a similar passion. The Challenge doesn’t make the race all about the competitors like most triathlons, it’s about the experience with your friends and loved ones. The Challenge Family makes sure to include everyone from athletes to the community. It was great to be part of something that has lasted so long and has visited 11 different countries. We got to meet so many amazing people and experience the Challenge face-to-face. Our CEO enjoyed the experience so much, that she is planning on joining Challenge Family Canada next! Look for our booth if you’ll be there.
